About Us...


FeralCare Inc. is dedicated to aiding cats and communities through no-cost spay/neuter clinics and informative outreach.
Our non-profit, all-volunteer organization formed in response to the dramatic rise in the stray and feral cat population throughout Connecticut. This population explosion has resulted in the malnutrition and death of countless animals, as well as a substantial increase in the number of cats and kittens requiring care and adoption.

Our goal is to specifically address feline overpopulation and suffering at the base level, through a series of programs tailored to improve the quality of life for the cats and the human communities in which they live.

A single unspayed cat and her offspring
can produce 120,000 kittens over seven years!



An All-Volunteer Organization
Our all-volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of professionals representing the fields of Urban Revitalization, Animal Rescue, Veterinary Medicine, Community Advocacy, and Communications, who are in turn supported by a strong core of volunteers.
